All major cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Stripe handles every payment, so your card details never touch our servers.

Better than a trial: the Free tier never expires. 10 emails a month, forever, no credit card required.

Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account dashboard. An upgrade applies right away and starts a new billing period, a downgrade applies from your next period, no drama.

You'll get a heads-up before you hit the wall. Once you're at zero, generation pauses until you upgrade, buy a pack, or your quota resets next month (if you have a Pack, we keep taking emails from it). Your last generation may dip below zero by at most 4 emails (2 on the free plan), as described in the question about how we count emails from your quota.

An email written from text uses 1 email from your quota if the text does not exceed 10,000 characters (longer text is counted as below). A recording up to a minute long also uses 1 email, and each further minute or part of a minute uses one more, with each minute boundary moved 1 second later, in your favor. For example, a recording of 2 minutes 5 seconds uses 3 emails. A Generation with message text longer than 10,000 characters uses 1 more email for each further 10,000 characters or part of them; the additions for a recording and for long text add up. In total one Generation uses at most 5 emails (3 on the free plan), and we do not process text longer than 50,000 characters. If the generated reply exceeds the length limit, you receive it shortened; such a Generation has been carried out and uses emails. If you have at least 1 email left (in your monthly quota, in a Pack, or in upgrade credits), the Generation will still run even if it uses more emails than you have left: your balance can fall below zero, by at most 4 emails (2 on the free plan), and a negative balance does not carry over to the next period. A negative balance applies only to the monthly quota and is cancelled when it renews; a Pack does not pay it off. A line break counts as one character. If generating fails because of an error on our side, every email taken for it goes back to your account, to your current monthly quota and current Pack, even if the generation took place in the previous period.

Usage

Chrome or Edge: grab it from the Chrome Web Store. Edge runs on the same engine, so the Chrome listing installs there too. Firefox has its own listing on Firefox Add-ons. Click 'Add,' follow the prompts. Done in under a minute.

After installing, a button appears in your compose window (the same one in Gmail and Outlook). You can say what it's about, or type a few words in the reply window. Word2Mail writes the message from what you gave it and from what's already in the thread.

Sure, sign in with the same Google account and it works on any browser install you've added it to. It doesn't teleport, though; you still need to add it on each one.

No. It reads only the thread open on your screen, and only when you ask for a reply. We don't request permission to browse your mail. The extension doesn't have it.

The recording or the text you gave it, plus the content of the open thread if you're replying. As much as it takes to write that one message.

No. Your email content exists to produce that one draft.

The more you give it, the closer it gets. In settings you save what always applies: how you address clients, what your emails never contain. The tone of a single message you say with it: "polite but firm."

Troubleshooting

Check it's enabled in your browser's extensions page (chrome://extensions on Chrome/Edge, about:addons on Firefox). Still missing? Refresh the Gmail or Outlook tab. Still nothing? Reinstalling fixes it nine times out of ten.

Speak clearly and cut the background noise: Gemini, our AI model, handles transcription as part of writing your draft, so clean audio still helps more than you'd think. Still off? Email us and a human will take a look.

We use Google sign-in. Double-check you're using the right Google account. Still stuck? Clearing your browser's cache and cookies usually does the trick.

Still Stuck?

Can't find it here? A real human reads every message. Email us and we'll sort it out.
