A market-specific legal notice, such as the German Impressum (§5 DDG) or the French mentions légales (LCEN), is published for the brand fronts targeting those markets. This generic notice applies to every other Word2Mail front.

4. Third-party data we use

To determine the country you are connecting from, and from that, which currency to show you and whether we can offer the service in your country, we use the GeoLite2 database provided by MaxMind.

The database is an ordinary file we read on our own server. Nothing about you is sent to MaxMind in the process: your IP address never leaves our infrastructure for this purpose, and is not stored for it. We resolve country only, never city or any finer location.
